Lunchbox Strategy – Remember when you were single, and you turned your nose up at leftovers. Wasn\u2019t that cute? Now that you are an adult, whom others-children, mainly rely on for sustenance, you have come to embrace those leftovers like old friends. Haven\u2019t you?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

You do not need to reheat last night\u2019s dinner straight up, and there is more to leftovers than a sandwich. Although we all love good sandwich. Let this recipe inspire you to take your leftovers and transform them into shiny new dish.<\/p>\r\n

Strategy Leftovers<\/h2>\r\n

Audit your leftovers:<\/strong> Chose from what you have in the fridge and freezer and decide what makes sense together.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Select a dish:<\/strong> Pick the meal that makes sense for your leftovers and be sure to take into account the extras you will need. Consider other fresh ingredients into your fridge to fill out your new leftover-based recipe. This is the great time to use the rest of celery stalks or the other half of the onion from Tuesday night chili.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Leftovers in action:<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Your leftovers:<\/strong> 2 cups cooked protein (boiled chicken) and vegetables, cup tomato sauce or leftover bechamel, cream cheese.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Extras:<\/strong> 5 tortillas, 1 cup grated cheese<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Take your leftovers and dice them up into similar size pieces. Warm in the skillet. Add a cup of tomato sauce and herbs of choice.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Prepare a tray. Slightly butter with oil. Take a tortilla. Spread 1\/5 of the cooked mixture, followed by grated cheese. Wrap and arrange in the tray dish. Repeat with the rest ingredients.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Sprinkle over some grated cheese and bake for 20 minutes at 190 \u00b0C preheated oven. Or heat over a grill pan for 5 minutes until golden brown all sides.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Add salad and your Lunchbox is ready for minutes.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
