Pakchoi is closely related to Chinese cabbage. It grows in loose heads with pale ribs. The leaves are dark green, like chard.

Pakchoi is used as a vegetable and a salad and can be used in dishes as a substitute for chard and spinach. Because it contains a lot of moisture, pakchoi is best used when fresh.

Enjoy it in your lunchbox.
