Basil is almost everywhere around us in the summer and we are happy to include it our home cooking. The sunny pink tomatoes with cheese, basil and olive oil or classic the pesto sauce are the foods without which the summer table would be desolate.
We are sure that almost every refrigerator in the summer is stocked with a large jar of homemade pesto sauce or at least a blended basil in olive oil.
Why not use it as a marinade for pan-cooked chicken nuggets. Sometimes simple ideas make incredibly tasty and fast dinners and great ideas for the Lunchbox.

You can add apples, carrots and hummus and voila, for just several minutes you will be ready with the preparation of the Lunchbox for the next day. Load the Lunchbox from the evening, put it in the fridge and in the morning just transfer it to the bag. You’ll have a yummy, healthy, balanced and light lunch!
