This is a recipe for kids to make while you are busy and they want to help you with the dinner or lunchbox. This is also a good breakfast. Depends on how you are going to serve it. Add a salad or a soup and the dinner is ready. This is almost like a quiche but a quicker versions as it smells and tastes the same. It is so good, because:
- It is much faster to make.
- All you need is a baguette, eggs and milk – simple ingredients.
- There is so much crust (kids love it)! Brush the baguettes with melted butter to get extra crust with delicious flavor.
- They are freezer friendly once cooked. Wrap in foil and freeze. Once you need, jut pop it straight from the freezer into oven to reheat.
- Tones of variations: smoked salmon is very good; Italian filling with chopped bits of salami, olives and sun-dried tomatoes is really amazing one.
- This is a great recipe for scaling up and down. You can make it with longer baguettes and share it with friends.
