Making your own pasta is easier than you think especially if you have pasta machine. You can make pasta by hand, but the machine will save you time and effort and make the process much more interesting and fun, especially for kids.

To get the best of your pasta machine, start rolling the dough on the widest roller setting. Then fold the pasta and roll again. Re-roll the piece 3-5 times without folding, making the roller setting thinner each time.
To prevent the pasta sticking, when working with it, lightly flour the work surface and your cutting tools.
If you like the flavor of garlic with tomatoes, gently cook 2 garlic cloves with the onion when making the tomato sauce.
If you like, serve the ravioli with sizzling sage butter. Melt 50 g butter in a small pan, add handful of fresh sage leaves and stir constantly over a medium to high heat until sizzling and then pour the hot butter over the cooked ravioli.
If you do not have a pasta machine at home, roll the dough as thick as you can and proceed with the recipe confidently. The dough is easy to work with and rolling will not make you any trouble. Just some more work and effort which will support your fitness objectives😊
