These beautiful Mariposa or Butterfly pasties are attractive and very easy to prepare. Besides being beautiful, they will impress you with the richness of tastes and textures.
The layers are light and airy and are wonderfully complemented by apricot jam and milk cream.

To make butterflies, you can use a compote of tangerines to save time.
If you fail to find, peel the tangerines, and put the pieces in the casserole, add 100 ml. water and 2 tbsp sugar. Leave on the heat until the water evaporates. Drain and you’re ready.
Of the proposed quantities, you will make 9 pieces, but if necessary, double the quantities.
