This delicious chicken lasagna is made with tender chicken, cooked in flavored milk and green peas in a creamy white Alfredo sauce.
Everyone will love it as it has everything we would like to have in a lasagna: cheesy and saucy, plus freezer friendly.
To make the Chicken lasagna you will first steam the chicken breast for 15 minutes in flavored milk and chicken broth and the use the same milk to make the white sauce. Steaming the chicken in milk-broth makes the chicken juicier.

The white sauce is simple – no cream as we use enough cheese to make it creamy.
The green peas add color and freshness. We use froze peas and cook them in boiling water for 3 minutes before adding them to the mixture. To keep the green color, after boiling them, wash quickly under cold water to stop the cooking.
The layers are 3 – just as the classic lasagna, finishing the last layer with sauce. Sprinkle over Mozzarella and you are ready to bake.

The best thing in this meal is its simplicity and simple products. There is nothing special here. You will need: 1) chicken breasts, chicken broth, milk, thyme, bay leaves and salt. 2) Flour, cheddar cheese, mozzarella, garlic, green peas and lasagna sheets.
Note: Use fresh home-made lasagna for best results. No need to cook them before layering. Dried lasagna should be cooked according to packet instructions before layering and baking.
