This is our absolute favorite carrot recipe to share. These carrots come around at the table in the fall season as need warmer foods.
These easy to make Whiskey Honey Glazed Carrots are lightly steamed then finished in a whiskey and honey syrup glaze that has a tiny hint of spice.
Tips:
Cut carrots long diagonal to maximize the surface area for the glaze to stick to.
Quick steam in a tiny bit of water and use the same pan for the steam and for the glaze. Just add the whiskey and honey to finish cooking the carrots and after several minutes reduce to form the most gorgeous sticky glaze. If you like, cook a few more minutes to caramelize the glaze.
Put in a plate, sprinkle some pistachios over the top, and Enjoy!!!
