This delicious Pork Ribs recipe is our kids’ request – rubbed with a spice mix and braised with a homemade barbecue sauce.
When it comes to ribs the best is to pay good money for great barbecue!
But what if it rains outside and you want to make it at home. Well, this is how we do it in the oven. It’s easy, the ribs are beautifully tender, it’s packed full of flavour from a rub, braising the ribs in apple juice.

As long as you get nice juicy, fatty ribs (which they typically are), it will be pretty hard to stuff this recipe up! Ribs are a tough cut of meat so they’re made for slow cooking until it’s nice and tender. So even if you cook it 30 minutes too long, it will still be juicy and delicious.
Please, make the homemade barbecue sauce – the balsamic vinegar is the secret ingredient in this restaurant barbecue sauce recipe!!
