Easy, light and favorite dessert. The base is easy and simple – only with egg whites, sugar, lime juice and fine flour from ground almonds. To this mixture we add 2 tsp cornstarch to get the soft marshmallow effect, while the outside remains crispy.

The dessert is suitable for gluten-free regime.

Variations:
With raspberries and rose Water: prepare the basic recipe for the cake, but add 1 tsp of rose water to the white mixture and to the cream. Replace the strawberries with raspberries.
With macadamia and apricot: replace almonds with roasted macadamia nuts or pecan, and strawberries replace with apricots.
With blueberries, cherries, and lemon: Instead of strawberries, use equal amounts of cherries, without pits and blueberries. Add 1 tbs. grated lemon zest to the white mixture.
