Valentine’s day cupcake hearts

Instructions

1. For the cupcakes:
2. Preheat oven to 175 C. Line cupcake tin with paper or silicone liners.
3. In a medium bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cocoa powder.
4. In a large bowl beat together butter, cream, melted chocolate, melted cocoa powder, cinnamon, egg.
5. Whisk flour mixture into wet ingredients until just smooth.
6. Pour batter into prepared tins and bake for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Fill each muffin 2/3 from the top.
7. For the frosting: With an electric mixer, cream together butter, icing sugar, velvet color and milk.
8. Use a knife or a pastry bag to decorate the cupcakes.
