Our choice this year is to present you an Easter bread, for which you will not touch the dough with your hands😊 We were inspired by the fatigue of endless cooking and cleaning that flooded us as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Easter bread we offer you needs 5 minutes of your time to assemble. Transfer it to a bread pan until it doubles its volume (about 90 minutes) and bake it for 30 minutes. Your hands will rest clean and you will have an airy and wonderful Easter bread.
To make the Easter bread you need to do the following:
- Place the yeast in lukewarm water (36°C) with 1 tsp sugar, for 5 minutes to foam.
- Melt the butter by placing it in a bowl over another bowl filled with warm water.
- You need three eggs. Separate half a yolk for smearing.
- The dough will be more liquid. Watch the video.
- You can put crushed dark chocolate or raisins or leave plain. Transfer the dough to the baking pan, cover with a towel and leave to rest until doubled in volume. The time depends on the temperature in the room.
- Beat the yolk with 1 tbsp fresh milk and grease the dough before putting it in the oven. On top sprinkle with nuts – pistachios, pine nuts, pecan.
- Bake at the lower level of the oven. After 20 minutes, check the oven. If necessary, cover with a sheet of aluminum foil to prevent crust burning.
- The baking time is no more than 30 minutes.
- The sequence of inclusion of products in dough making: Start with the flour and salt. Turn on the mixer and while working, add the yeast, eggs, melted butter. Let the mixer work for 3 minutes. Add the chocolate and transfer to the prepared pan.
- Baking pan – cover with baking paper and lightly grease with melted butter. Sprinkle some sugar on the bottom.
