Homemade quinoa tortillas

These homemade tortillas are not only made with the super-food quinoa, but they are flexible and strong enough to hold your filling. Gluten Free. Lactose Free.

We all in our family tried to find the right words to describe the taste of these quinoa tortillas. We couldn’t compare it to any other familiar. But we all agree – the taste is just great. We encourage you to try them.

Quinoa is:

  1. One of the few plants that contains all nine essential amino acids making it a complete protein, very useful for vegans.
  2. It’s rich in fiber and easy to digest. It has almost twice as much fiber as other grains.
  3. It is high in magnesium and iron and contains lysine, calcium, and phosphorus.

If you are looking for all of these healthful benefits and more, these quinoa tortillas are just for you!

Note: We didn’t have quinoa flour in the cupboard, so I made in the flour-making machine using a mix of red and white quinoa seeds.
