When we prepare the food at home we have 1) full control over the products we use in the recipe; 2) we can make each dish lighter and healthier; 3) add flavors that we like as to eat in our own way; 4) inserting secret products that children say they do not like and last but not least 5) experiment and develop attitude towards food – texture, aromas, tastes.
Active adults can eat as they wish. To restrict, to starve, to follow different fashionable diets. To have breakfast or not , to eat meat or to anathematize it. However, if you have children, the picture changes dramatically. Parents are responsible for their balanced nutrition. They care about the balance of food groups. Prepare a meal for four times feeding a day. They cultivate good eating habits, tastes and attitudes towards food.
Eating is a daily effort. It requires a lot of work: planning, organization, shopping, cooking, imagination. Sometimes a lot comes to us and the question: “What’s for dinner” makes us crazy. For things to happen without stress and strain, we always enter the kitchen with strategy. Often we are looking for recipes which we can transforme easily into new meals to save time but also to experiment, because cooking food is a creative process that can not happen unless we love what we do.
Today’s menu is beautifully assembled with food left overs from the main meals: 1) Pasta, 2) Cream with date cream 3) Cheese salad 4) Fruits
