How to make tahini at home? Easy!!! Put 300 g of raw almonds in a baking tray and bake them in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 7 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Put the warm almonds in a blender and puree. Scrape down the sides of the blender to get a nice and smooth almond tahini.
Blend until the tahini is more runny. Be patient. It will take 15-20 minutes. Store tahini in a tightly closed jar.
You will only need 2 tablespoons for the recipe. Use it at breakfast; for intermediate snacks with fruits or vegetables.
Making the Dough: Follow our simple guide to mix, knead and rise your dough to perfection. Remember, patience is key! The dough is slightly sticky. Do not add flour. You want, Cozonac, not sweet bread. Check the consistency of the dough. It should start to peel away from the sides of the robot.
