If you want to make something different with the pork, try this exotic recipe.
While cooking the pork looks vague and unimpressive until it caramelizes and turns into a magic. The meat is really tender, and you can easily cut it with wood sticks.
One ingredient in Vietnamese Caramel Pork that you may not have in your pantry but is sold in all major supermarkets nowadays –is coconut water. Put 3 tables spoons of coconut flakes in 350 ml warm water and let rest for 5 minutes, then drain and use the water.
This recipe is suitable for cuts of pork like shoulder and belly. Don’t try this with tenderloin or loin – it will be too dry, there is not enough fat in those cuts.
